God Forbid Australian Tour '07
Soundworks Touring present:
Hailing from East Brunswick, New Jersey, the thrash metal/metalcore quintet that is God Forbid, built up a strong following in the late 1990s by touring with bands such as Cradle of Filth, Nile, and Candiria. Their first full album Reject the Sickness was released by 9 Volt Records in 1999. This buzz attracted the attention of Century Media Records, who quickly signed the band & in 2001, the band unleashed Determination – an Americanized form of thrash metal so unrelenting that it brought listeners to their knees.
God Forbid emerged from the studio in early 2004 with the blistering, Gone Forever, which put the band on the international map & this critically acclaimed album successfully bridged the gap between thrash, hardcore and traditional metal. With four full-length releases and almost a decade of experience under their belts, the group has achieved its true potential with its latest offering, IV: Constitution Of Treason, that will force the entire world to take notice.
God Forbid touring Australia March 2007 for the first time thanks to Soundworks Touring.

Lamb Of God Australian Tour 2007
Lamb of God return to Australia in April and May of 2007, with tickets going on sale Friday the 22nd of December.
"Where pain, adrenaline and frustration turn to rage, therein lurk Lamb of God. In the six years since they changed their name from Burn the Priest and continued their musical quest, the Richmond, Virginia band has written some of the heaviest, most brutal music ever recorded. They have consistently accompanied their persistent savagery with technical songwriting and jaw dropping musicianship. But never have they achieved the level of precision, complexity and hateful groove that they exhibit on their new disc, Sacrament. A combination of pummeling thrash, gripping hardcore and thrilling classic metal, the album is searing, bold and relentless, probing dark unexplored regions of aggression and emotional decay rivaled by none."
That's what their press has to say about them and their new album, so check 'em out and see if they live up to it!
