Suffocation Perth show review and photos
Just added a few photos I took at the Suffocation show in Perth the other day and did a mini review to go with them. It was an awesome gig and hats off to Soundworks for bringing them down to Australia. Check out the review and photos .Insurgent EP Launch
Insurgent are the new featured band as they are launching their debut EP "Cutthroat Tunes" next weekend, on February 24, at the Charles Hotel in North Perth. Joining them in support to help launch the EP will be Wardaemonic, The Alchemont and Bereavement, so it should be a good one.
Not only that but you will receive a FREE copy of the EP upon entry to the gig - sounds like a good deal to me! Now go check out the Insurgent feature page .
Misery and relief
The new and final Misery album, ON DEMON WINGS, is set for release next month through Obsidian Recs and will be available through the label and all good indie record stores. 11 tracks clocking in at just under the 35 minute mark, no epics here! You can check out a couple of the new songs at

Graham Greene - Australian Rock God deemed 'The Satriani of the South' has lent his music to the Save Delara Campaign. He was asked by the organizers of the campaign if they could use one of the tracks from his current release "Leap Of Face" to assist with their campaign to free innocent minors who are trapped on death row awaiting execution in Iran.
Graham Greene was honoured to be associated. He stated: "Only too happy to help".

Nile and Decapitated - Aussie tour!
Having crushed Australian audiences in November 2005, one of the most innovative and extreme death metal bands on the face of the earth in NILE, return to our shores to tear us apart with their blasting extremities and epic arrangements in the lead up to the release of their new upcoming full length album.
Having just signed to Nuclear Blast, Nile combine their interest in Egyptian history, culture and lore with the ferocity of modern death metal.
Joining NILE, will be Polish technical death metal sensations DECAPITATED, on what will be their first appearances in Australia. DECAPITATED blasted onto the death metal scene in 1997 with ‘Winds Of Creation’ at the average age of 17 & were heralded as the future of death metal. On the back of their latest release ‘Organic Hallucantions’, DECAPITATED are set to thrill us with their brand of Polish technical death metal.
Touring Australia & New Zealand in May 2007.
