Perth Musicians Unite to Support Eco Activists

Perth musicians will donate their talent and time this week during a benefit gig in Fremantle to support the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s fight to bring an end to commercial whaling.

The eco activist society has gained international notoriety over their clashes with Japanese Whalers who continue their practice of illegal whaling under the guise of research.

Nine bands will play during a two-stager event at the Swan Hotel in Fremantle on Saturday 27 March starting at 6.30pm.

The door charge is $15 and all proceeds from the gig will go to Sea Shepherd.

The bands who have donated their time are Battletruk, Suffer, The Reptilians, 3 days later, Death Grenade, S.S.A, Apethetix, Gozu and Born into Suffering.

Perth members of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society will attend the gig and merchandising will be available.
